EXCLUSIVE: 2CHAINZ FORGETS LYRICS WHEN NIGERIAN GIRL TWERKS ON HIM AT THE DKM CONCERT -

All roads led to Eko Hotel and Suites yesterday for the most talked about concert of the year, the DKM Concert. D’banj hosted label mate and international act, 2Chainz and a couple of other Nigerian acts as they held the crowd with their swell performances. If you missed the concert, below is an insight of went down.

Radio personality, Toolz started out in a very lovely way and was assisted by real housewives’ Kenya Moore. This was followed by performances from Fally Ipupa, Samklef, Sean Tizzle, DRB Lasgidi, Mafikholozo from South Africa, Kaywsitch , Olamide and international rapper 2chainz!. The show started a little bit late, due to the football match between Nigeria and Spain. The absence of Wande Coal and Wizkid was not visible as the expectations of fans were duly met.

Olamide’s performance was off the hook, he was able to carry the audience along with his energetic stage skills. Rapper 2Chainz’s performance was ‘the bomb’ with the Kokomaster, D’banj adding his own Nigerian version hooks. Not forgetting the endowed Nigerian girl who came on stage and twerked at 2Chainz making him forget his lyrics. Kaffy and her dance crew gave an amazing performance alongside 2Chainz performance.

DON JAZZY SHUTS DOWN HIS POP NIGHT CLUB

There had been earlier reports that things were not booming at Don Jazzy's Pop night club. So, finally, Don Jazzy has bowed down to the pressure and shut down his Pop night club on Saka Tinubu Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to Koolyarns who got to chat with a security official at the club before now, the security man told him:

''Oga, you know say managing club and music no be the same thing...they are two different things..wetin Donjazzy sabi na music, make him manage that one..club business no be him thing''The security man went on to explain how customers had reduced drastically compared to when the club started, how he no longer received the tips he used to get for securing cars parked outside the club.
And again, some people are said to show up at the club just to take photos with Don Jazzy and leave. While some *important people* will buy drinks and not pay.

"DON JAZZY PRODUCED FOUR SONGS ON THE DKM ALBUM” - D’BANJ CONFESSES

D’Banj revealed to Soundcity that four songs on his soon to be released DKM album was produced by Don Jazzy, glad the two are at least in business talking terms.
In his own words;
“Don Jazzy produced four songs on the DKM album coming out soon. I remember when I was in America and they were mastering a song and I heard the one featuring Fally Ipupa which was produced by Don Jazzy and I was like wow! I called him immediately and he picked up. I said listen to what I’m hearing, this is a music you produced. So don’t get it twisted like I said, love is a beautiful thing.
“I’m a businessman and I do what is right for my business. What I’m doing now is what I have always
wanted as an artiste, professionalism and good distribution. I don’t have any regret.”

D'BANJ SAYS, I CALLED DON JAZZY IMMEDIATELY AND HE PICKED UP

Guys don't get it twisted; the titled is just to draw your attention to the fact that D'banj and his former tight man, Don Jazzy, are still working together, contrary to insinuations in sections of the media.

D'banj himself has confirmed that he doesn't have any problem whatsoever working with Don Jazzy and that both of them have been working together, producing good music, even after the break up.

BETWEEN RAPPER OLAMIDE AND D'BANJ

Well i can't tell how true it is. But i hear Olamide is about to be signed to D'banj's music label. They were both at the first Nigerian Entertainment Conference and were so close to each other. From the red carpet, right into the main hall. Well if this is true, good for Olamide. He also needs a mentor.

Few weeks after the news of his sack broke as manager of D’Banj, Abisagboola Oluseun John, popularly calledBankuli, has denied being kicked out.

Bankuli said he walked away, not pushed, because of personal reasons. "D'Banj didn't fire me. I just decided to move on. I was shocked when I read that he fired me. Whoever leaked that story was just being malicious," he said. Until now, both parties have kept mum despite speculations of a serious disagreement between them.

This first part shows Naeto C's rendezvous with the D'Banj up in his Atlanta Koko Mansion to assist in 'perfecting' the forth-coming album. The part also features DB Records signee J-Sol, as well as ace producer Tee Y- Mix.

Even with the official logo of G.O.O.D Music endorsed on his videos, there have been reports that D'Banj's involvement with G.O.O.D Music owner Kanye West was not for an induction into the revered record label.
Well, rumours can pipe low now as it is evident on March issue of XXL Magazine that D'Banj is a full-fledged member of G.O.O.D Music.
