JOSEPH YOBO LASHES OUT AT KESHI FOR DISSING HIM DURING KENYA MATCH

Super Eagles' skipper, Joseph Yobo, has angrily hit out at Stephen Keshi because he was never informed before being dropped from the squad that faced the Harambee Stars of Kenya in a World Cup qualifier duel played last month in Calabar.

The Fenerbahce defender expressed his grievances saying that Keshi was "disrespectful" not to have give him any notification.
"We spoke just right after winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, and since then we have not spoken. No one has got in touch with me since then, and I feel that as the captain of the national team, I should have been informed.
"I am disappointed and disrespected because the coach should have called me considering my status in the team," he said.

Yobo was one of several high-profile players from the Afcon squad who were left out of the game against
Kenya on March 23. Villareal striker, Ikechukwu Uche and Spartak Moscow's Emmanuel Emenike, out injured, were other big names from the Afcon winning squad that missed the match.

The African champions escaped from an embarrassing home defeat as a last minute superb strike from Nnamdi Oduamadi secured a 1-1 draw for Nigeria.
