Former Disney Star Miley Cyrus has been chosen by readers of mens magazine, Maxim as the hottest woman of 2013.
Miley beat Selena Gomez and Rihanna to claim the number one sp0t.
“It feels amazing to be No. 1,” she told Maxim, “especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world! It’s every woman’s fantasy to be told she’s No.1 on Maxim’s Hot 100! So crazy!”
This pixie-haired beauty brought it home for America, storming to the top spot the first week of voting and never losing command of her seat of world power,” the magazine stated in a press release, “So as we officially rename 2013 the Year of the Miley, let’s all party in the U.S.A. and rock out to her collaborations with Maxim heroes like Snoop Lion and will.i.am. Miley, we hereby anoint thee Queen of Our Hearts.”
Former Notre Dame line-backer Manti Te’o's fake girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, was at number 69. Te’o made headlines after it was revealed his long-distance girlfriend, who allegedly developed leukaemia and died in a car accident, never existed.
“After Manti Te’o's fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love. Why not? She’s got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini,” the magazine wrote.
